I slept last night. Bad news. I felt sick all day long. I was supposed to be tidying up, getting ready for The Hub's party, but instead I was curled up on the couch wrapped tightly in a blanket watching more Kenny vs. Spenny. I feel only marginally better now at 10pm and I still have so much to do. And so tidying tonight shall consist of cramming everything that isn't garbage into a box and shoving said box into the guest room.

We're watching Anchorman now, instead of being productive, but that's how we roll. Hub is playing a computer game and I'm typing away on my laptop. I'm beginning to feel the urge however, to get up and empty and then refill the dishwasher. Sigh. Being an adult is so tedious sometimes.

It's now 10:26. I emptied the dishwasher, filled it up again (sadly it's not quite full enough to run yet...grr), cleared off the counter, filled two garbage bags and am now back on the couch ready to relax for the rest of the evening. Drat. I just had a really painful hiccup.

WHY AM I ALLERGIC TO MY WEDDING RINGS?!?! So annoying.

Blah. I have nothing interesting to say today.

Peace Out
Becca

Current Book: The Know-It-All - A.J. When you're jobless, I guess it's as good a way to spend the day as any. My leg is falling asleep. Actually, my whole body is probably falling asleep. I didn't get to sleep until probably 8 o'clock this morning which is ridiculous, I know. My best friend slept over last night. Well...she slept over this morning. We were up til 5 talking about everything in the world. Then I watched 2 or 3 episodes of Kenny vs. Spenny while she got to sleep (I had slept in til three the previous day), before joinging The Hub in our room where snuggled for a while. Then he revealed that he may or may not have lost his wedding ring so I got down on the floor to sift through the clothes and found it almost immediately. Thank goodness for that! Anyways, I finally went to sleep and then was woken up around 1pm by The Hub. I was supposed to make him lunch, but as I had been asleep, he made it himself. I felt a little bad, but not enough to dwell on it for more than thirty seconds.

I can't wait to sleep tonight. Hopefully I can actually drift off at a decent hour and within a decent time frame. I am so bad at falling asleep. I think i'm nocturnal. Or just crazy. Maybe I'm broken. Hub falls asleep instantly at night. Yeah, he wakes up once in a while, but he falls right back asleep again. Not. Fair. Not fair at all.

My tummy hurts. Hopefully it stops hurting. That's all I have to say about that.

My Moomah and Dadda are moving. I'm excited for them. I feel bad for my siblings, but I know it'll all end up being alright. Hopefully they can get the rest of my belongings to me alright.

I wish I could wear normal people sunglasses instead of glasses people sunglasses. If I want sunglasses, I need to get prescription ones or those stupid huge ones that go overtop. I did have some of those but I forgot them at my parents' house and my mom adopted them. Good for her. Bad for me. But I don't really care. They were hideous. Sadness. Meh-ness.

That's it for today.

Peace Out.
Becca

Current Book: The Know-It-All - A.J. I would sit in my apartment all day, blinds drawn shut with only a few rays of light entering the dim room, swigging my vodka while watching the food network. Pathetic really, but I'm certain that would be my life if things were a little different.

I need to stop starting blogs. I had like, 4 or 5 before beginning this one and they were all kinda stupid. Maybe this one will be different. Maybe I'll actually maintain this one! That would be swell, I suppose. Not sure if anyone ever actually reads these blogs 'o mine, but that doesn't really matter. I write for me, not for you (whoever you may be).

Let me explain the picture. I did a series of minimalist digital drawings of the Joker, and this is one of my favourites. I think it's sufficiently creepy, and conveys what I wanted it to. And who doesn't love drawing the Joker? He's a genius, plain and simple, and an absolutely fantabulous character. One of the best characters ever created in all of history. He's evil, he's hilarious, and he's quite dapper which I find adds to his psychotic charm.

Well...I guess I'm done writing for now. I'll delight you with more of my thoughts some other day. This post is titled "Day 1" but that doesn't mean I'm going to write every day. Just that I don't want to bother thinking of creative or interesting titles.

Peace Out.
Becca
